ok, sounds like everyone is in, and if any else wants to join they are welcome. I am still trying to figure out this blog thing, but I think you need to click on the link below and add yourself to it, and I think you can post comments right on it instead of sending just to my email address. Jan 4th is still the start date for round 1, which will last 6 months long. How does everyone feel about contributing 20 bucks (for starters) for the weekly award fund(this will cover abt 3 months worth of prizes)? if you feel good about it, mail it to me right away, I have some good prize ideas and would like to have ready for the Jan 11 winner. Does everyone understand how this will work? Here is an example, if someone starts out at lets say 200 lbs and they lose 2 lbs in first week, they will just let me know they are at 99% of their original weight. If someone was 100 lbs and lost 2lbs they would be at 98%, whoever has the lowest % wins.

Get ready for it, renew that gym membership, join the weight watchers group again, make sure you have a good diet plan all ready to go on Jan 5th, I think the competition is going to be fierce!

OK, this is my first blog, so just trying to figure it out right now. Talked to most of you today about the O'Donnell Biggest Loser contest we are going to have on a weekly basis begining Sunday January 4th. Here is how it works. Sometime on Sunday Jan 4th you get a scale and record your weight(privately), the following Saturday(Jan 11th) let us know the % of your original weight that you have lost. The biggest loser is the weekly winner.

I have a lot more ideas I am working on, such as awards for the weekly winner, sharing light recipes, actually making giant batches of food that you think are good for a diet and dropping off at Mom's or something.

Hope to get the whole family motivated for dieting and exercise.
